Check out the new improved hedge. (Work in progress)

The scruffy old hedge/garden behind the art room needed some attention.

Come & join our Garden Club - Kaitiaki Whenua.

Look at the amazing growth of our basil over the last month.  Our garden club students must have green fingers.

Our bean plant called Mr Thom has grown from this...

Watch this space.  We have recently planted beetroot & carrots, as well as a winter layering of lupin & mustard.

To finish the term we got to try some of the pears we harvested & Mrs Robinson preserved.  Yum.

Welcome to the AIS Garden Club 2016

Check out our great start to the gardening year. We have had some amazing crops of tomatoes, corn, cucumbers, potatoes, not to mention the fruit from the orchard.

We also get to eat some of the produce from our hard work.  We had tried cucumber sandwiches, corn on the cob, dehydrated apples & pears, & apple pie.

If you are keen to join us on a Thursday after school, please collect a notice from Mr Craft in Room 6.
